Legislative Update Part 2 – June 2013 – SB 91A

Recently the Oregon legislature passed a bill known as SB 91A. This bill will be effective 1/1/2014. This bill has allowed landlords to require renters insurance, expand non-compliance fees and has made changes to screening guidelines involving background checks.
